TELECOMMUNICATION

    JSC "VESNET" is founded by the Ministry of transport and communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Turkish company «Nortel Networks - NETAS» in 1992 for the purpose of satisfaction of requirements of the telecommunication market of the country and at present is the first factory-manufacturer in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Industrial activity is begun since 1995.

    Strategic target of the company - industry development in the RK in telecommunications’ spectrum, by searching of partners and products which are not introduced in the market of the country and attraction of innovative technologies. Increasing of the production, sale and services of the electronic and telecommunication equipment in the field of wire and wireless communication in the RK and other CIS countries.

  • 1996y.: First rural PSTN DRX-4 was manufactured in Pavlodar. On the RK network are installed and operating more than 172 000 ports;
  • 1992y: Installed and in operation urban PSTN DMS 100/200 (Nortel Networks – NETAS) , более 417 тыс. портов,
  • 1998y: Launched synchronous transmission system SDH collars (Nortel Networks – NETAS), in 4 cities (Almaty, Taraz, Kyzylorda, Ekibastuz)
  • 2007-2008yy: completely finished technological and teaching period for production of digital PSTN DS200 (KAREL Elektronik). Produced, installed and in operation are more than 18 000 ports.
